The first alpha version was released to early supporters over the weekend. Like all alpha software, it wasn't without its hiccups.
It took 5-6 weeks to get the product to market, and during this period of time, a lot of coding happened.
I also built this in public throughout this whole time, letting people know what I was building.
In a "build and launch fast" fashion, I don't know if I prefer this cadence of speed. It definitely took a toll on my physical health as I stayed up late (a lot) to get code written and tested.
At the same time, once you prelaunch and take money from people, there's a certain expectation and you (as the builder) need to focus and get the product into people's hands.
Now that it's been 3 days since the product was released into the wild, I'm back at refining the product based on the early feedback.
This second time around, I'm going to pace myself a little bit slower to keep things more manageable (as burnout can definitely set in if one isn't careful).
Onward to more releases this week!

After a successful launch on X, we are now 100 users on RamenTools.
While RamenTools is still a MVP, this is definitely a huge milestone for me.
100 makers, 100 stacks, that's also 500 tools and plenty of interesting data!
